Mentor-Mentee Games

Two Mentor-Mentee games are held monthly. The Daytime game is held on the 1st Thursday of the month at 10:30 am. The nighttime game is held on the 3rd Monday of the month at 7pm. These games are posted on the game calendar each month.

The games are designed to provide newer players with the opportunity to play with a more advanced player against other Mentor-Mentee pairs and receive guidance and suggestions for improvement.

Here is how it works: The first step is to sign-up as a Mentor or Mentee. See instructions below. You will be paired with someone you will mentor or be Mentored by.

The Mentor will play the convention card of the Mentee. To keep things moving during the game, all bidding and play analysis should be discussed at the end of the game. During the review session the mentor will go over the game play and point out what went well and what needs work. The game review is usually done with the aid of the hand records.

The Mentor will play for free and the Mentee will pay a table fee of $10.00.
